Phlebotomy Training This is the program where the trainee will do the actual drawing of the blood that will actually be done by the students to other students as they begin from their training and once they're done with the module they will have an actual training in the hospital where they are going to draw the blood from the patients who actually have the diseases either mild or severe. The students who will enroll this program will require the medical health certification proving that they are healthy and they need an insurance for their protection in case they might get diseases coming from the patients where they have taken the blood. That's why being healthy is required for the students to have because they will be totally exposed from any critical patients that requires blood drawings for medical check up. The training will include on how to application of the first aid and advance application of knowledge resuscitation.
If you are a student who got scared with blood don't ever think to be enrolled in the program because this is not the kind of program that you should take. Other than drawing blood from the patients that as many as required, you will have to work at shifting time. When you are assigned for a night shift, then you must trained yourself to be awake for the whole night. What is very important in this job is that you are not scared to draw the blood from any patient either it still can talk or it is dying already. You must be a kind of brave in doing this job because patients coming to the hospital are not in the same status and this has to be given the big considerations for the student who wants to do it as their jobs. They has to be flexible and have the good communication skills especially if they are drawing a blood coming from the child who will be reacting when they can see the syringe that will be use for drawing their blood. This has require a nice approach for the one who will the job. Because this already happens to my son that the assigned person to draw the is a bit naughty kind of attitude and since she is use to draw blood she will just directly full the arm without approaching to talk to the child. My son was reacting because he was sleeping and she didn't wake him up to ask permission. I remember how my son reacting that's why we were requesting for another person to draw his blood and he allows. This kind of concern should be addressed so that they phlebotomies will learn to make a good approach especially if the patient is a child.
